The Pattern House

By Sarah

Are you a nervous newbie when it comes to sewing?  Maybe you consider yourself an intrepid intermediate and wish to broaden your stitching scope, sew to speak.  Or perhaps you wish to delve into the elusive world of pattern drafting. Whatever it is you’re after, The Pattern House has you covered.  With over 8 years of experience, founder Sara Moskovitz, provides optimal sewing knowledge and teaching through workshops and classes offered at her North Portand home. Oh, and did I mention bottomless coffee?  How hospitable!

Back in 2011, Miss Moskovitz worked with New York City's premier pattern making atelier where she helped draft patterns that were then used to create designer's runway looks for s/s Fashion Week!

Sara will be teaching at Portland Community College (where she took her first sewing class) this summer, as she has done in the past.  In addition to all this awesomeness, she is very open to unique learning requests and is willing to draft custom patterns for all you designers out there.  Check out her website and give her a holler when you are ready to get busy and/or learn some new skillz.   www.thepatternhouse.com  And when you're in the store to pick up supplies, let us know what class you're taking and receive our 10% student supply discount.
