Scandinavian Folded Star Ornaments by Windsor

Our neighbor to the north, Mr. Domestic, provided this instruction for Windsor’s beautiful folded star ornaments.

Sewn Rope Bowls by Bitty

Watching Bitty shape the rope bowls in her demonstration was mesmerizing. It was so neat to see the effect different tension and angle had on the shape. She also showed us how it looks when you wrap a stretch of rope with fabric, giving it a colorful pop! For more details you can check out Seamwork’s tutorial here, and SouleMama’s tutorial with painted effects here.

Adorable needle felted acorns by Bitty

Bitty also provided us with some tips and tricks for creating incredibly adorable little goodies with needle felting. This simple process has an easy entry and can be a great project to do with kiddos, especially over the school break! We’re loaded with all sorts of colors of wool roving, tools and books to get you going and provide more inspiration and guidance.
