2021 Holiday Gift Guides!
It’s that time of year again, when everyone has gifts and gift-giving at the top of their mind. We know that it can be tricky to purchase gifts for folks who love to sew, so we decided to come up with a couple handy-dandy lists to make it easier for you to find the perfect gift for your favorite sewist. This week we will be sharing 5 gift guides for different types of sewists: The Beginner, The Apparel Sewist, The Hand Stitcher, The Quilter, and lastly The Sewist Who Has it All! In this post you will find the Beginner Guide and the Apparel Sewist Guide. Be sure to check back later in the week for the other 3!

Bolt 60” Measuring Tape - You know the saying, measure twice, cut once. A soft measuring tape is essential to your sewing practice.
Unicorn Snips - You’re going to want a set of snips (or several) and how cute are these unicorns?
Gold Eye Embroidery Needles - It’s good to have an assortment of hand-stitching needles around your sewing studio, for sewing buttons, or hand stitching the binding on your quilt, or to work on an embroidery project!
Omnigrid 3” x 18” Ruler - The more measuring tools the merrier, this 3” x 18” ruler is a good all around size, plus you can use it as a straight edge with your rotary cutter.
Classic Tomato Pin Cushion - Where else you gonna put your pins? It’s a classic for a reason.
Olfa Ergonomic Rotary Cutter - Scissors are great, but sometimes you want the precision of a rotary cutter.
This list builds off of the Beginner Sewist Gift Guide, meaning we assume the apparel sewist already has most of the tools and supplies on that list.
