Tips for Successful Fabric Shopping in the COVID Era

We are so excited to welcome you back into the space! We have had to change the way we are used to doing things in the store for a number of reasons, but mainly in order to keep you and us safe. This is all new territory and we will adjust as we need to along the way. We can’t wait to see you and we hope this will offer some guidance and comfort for your shopping experience.

Our open hours are Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 11-5, and Thursday from 11-6. Below is a list of our store safety guidelines along with some tips for having a productive and successful experience.

Safety First

Masks required. Please, wear a mask. Mask must be properly worn, covering the nose and mouth, at all times when in the store.

Stay home if you are not feeling well. If you are under the weather, or experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms, please stay home, rest up, and we’ll be so excited to see you when you are feeling better.

Sanitize Regularly. We have hand sanitizer available by the door as well as near the pattern ipad for you to use.

Keep your distance. Please be mindful of other shoppers and staff, and maintain social distancing while shopping in-store.

You will notice some changes to the shop as well. We have pared down some of our displays in order to allow folx to be socially distanced within the space. We have also removed some of our “high touch” items like patterns and samples. We now have an ipad for you to peruse our pattern availability as well as binders for those of us who appreciate a low tech way to shop our patterns.

Tips for Successful Fabric Shopping during COVID

Pre-Browse in our online store! If you are able, please come with a list, an idea, or the names of patterns you would like to see in person. While in the store, feel free to take some notes, or snap a few shots of things you may want to remember for when you are shopping online for your next project.

We are still offering curbside pickup for online orders during open hours. Get in touch with us if our pick up hours don’t work for your schedule. We are happy to work with you to find a time.
