Row x Row Starts Tomorrow!

For the first time, we're participating in Row x Row here at the shop! What's Row x Row, you might be wondering? Well, it's a genius shop hop spanning the US and Canada. Participating shops design a quilt block based around a theme - this year's theme is "Home Sweet Home" - and then share copies with participants. We've spent the past several months designing a quilt block, writing a pattern, and putting together kits.

Our design celebrates the warmth and comfort of home - an open door with light shining out to welcome you back home- a feeling that many summer travelers will recognize. No matter how good the trip, it's always nice to come to home, right? We'll be giving patterns away and selling them as part of a kit. Row x Row is fun and easy to take part in. You don't have to register for anything or pay any fees, and there are just a couple of rules:

• Shops can only give you one free copy of the pattern for each person who comes to the shop. So we'll give you a copy, and if you'd like a couple more copies for your quilting friends, you can buy them as part of our kit.
• Patterns and kits are available from June 21-September 6.
• We cannot mail kits until after October 31.

That's it! Go explore some new shops, pick up a kit, and put a quilt together as a beautiful memento from your 2016 summer travels. When you've completed your quilt featuring at least 8 Row x Row blocks, bring it into a participating shop for a chance to win a bundle of 25 fat quarters!
