Just In (Part 1): Quilting Cotton, Japanese Imports, Rifle Paper Co., and Euclid
by Cameron
I know I've said this before, but this time we're REALLY flooded with gorgeous fabrics. They're coming in fast and furious. Because we have so much to show this week, I'm going to break it up in to a couple of parts. This first post is largely items on the bolt - quilting cottons and cotton linen blends.
First we have two much anticipated collections: Euclid by Carolyn Friedlander and Les Fleurs by Rifle Paper Co./Cotton+Steel.
Euclid is Carolyn Frielander's gorgeous modern designs on Robert Kaufman's cotton/linen Essex - a match made in heaven. I want wear this, make quilts with is, and wallpaper my house with it. And it's available in our online store!
Here I have just the cotton/linen canvas from Rifle Paper Co. Isn't it beautiful? For some reason, I can't get a sweet zipper pouch in one of these knock out florals off of my mind.
Two sweet Japanese prints perfect. I'd love to see the rust/blue/white cotton twill as funky skirt for fall. Both available online in our Japanese Imports section!
Some sweet organic quilting weight cottons from Birch.
We have so many beautiful, modern batiks from Hoffman - this is just a small sampling of our newest arrivals.
This crows are great, and could be a classy nod towards the upcoming fall/Halloween season. They're printed on a silky quilting cotton from Japan.
These prints are sure to capture the heart of pink lovers everywhere. Mighty stags and sweet florals make this such a fun collection.
Camping, canoeing, catching fireflies - capture summer moments for the rest of the year with this lovely collection by Dear Stella
Another nice group from Dear Stella - or should I say DEER Stella? Get it? Little mushrooms and autumnal fields of plants. This little prints would be great for quilts or for some sweet children's clothing.
We have all fallen for this sophisticated but sweet collection of quilting cottons from Moda. I appreciate that they're cute enough to use for a babies room, but not at all childish. See below for photos of the animal panels.
Bright and bold florals from Free Spirit! These are designed by Studio KM, who always puts out such beautifully illustrated botanical prints.
Three really fun pieces from Juliana Horner's latest collection.
Two cheerful prints from Art Gallery's inaugural organic line. It's a great combo of Art Gallery's silky hand and organic cotton!
Finally, two folksy prints - couples dancing and horses.
Stay tuned, because, I'm tellin' you, this is just a fraction of what I have to share with you. If you just can't wait another moment, come by and see all the new goodies for yourself!
