Honoring Kara, closing today

It is with a very heavy heart that I'm letting you know we are unexpected closing the store today. The bold, gutsy, kind and talented Kara Larson, owner and designer of Tumbleweed and Grasshopper, has passed. She has been an inspiration to me in a multitude of ways. When I came on the scene, she welcomed me, and continued to show me such respect. Some may have chosen to see our stores as competing, but she was only generous with me, sharing vendors and resources over the years. She was a true bright light in this life and I will miss her presence in our community to no end.

So, in honor of Miss Kara, please enjoy the day with your loved ones, doing what you'd like to be doing. We will resume our regular hours tomorrow, May 31st. You can read more on her blog here.
