Just in: linen, voile and cotton...and local talent Erin McMorris

by Gina

I have a rule that I don’t buy any fabric from the store before others have a good chance to get it first.  Last night I was tested.  I was getting these new linen pieces from Amy Butler ready to put out and my mind was racing with projects.  I am smitten with these prints.  They are gorgeous.  The weight, the colors, the designs.  Everything is lovely about these.  Come feast your eyes and let your mind race too!

The two sweet silky soft cotton voiles are also from Amy Butler.  Lovely, perfect for spring clothing.

The black and pink combo in Portland designer Erin McMorris’s latest group, Moxie, is fun and playful.  I love the word bubbles on the left—so clever.  And, the “HELLO!” print is quite fun as well.  The black and grey paired with the bubble gum pink and swimming pool blue help this group span the age groups.

More vibrant, color-filled delights from Dan Bennett, Victoria and Albert and the always clever, Tula Pink.

Another super fun and vibrant group that has just arrived is Folk Heart by Sara Trail.  She’s a teenager with a blog for the younger set to get ideas for sewing.  Impressive designs!  And, some colorful hearts…just in time for making valentines…And lastly I’ll leave you with a little postage collection.

Don’t forget this Saturday kicks off our Organization of the Month program, with a “donation day” for Dress for Success Oregon.  Hope to see you then!
