In order to help Tax Day go down a little easier and celebrate the upcoming sale, we are giving away the a stack of fabric from Heather Bailey's entire line of Fresh Cut.  What?!  These come from the original sample packets and all the pieces are about 13 1/2" wide and range in length from 10" to 21".  There are 40 swatches in all!  That is a ready-made quilt, my friends (or a ton of other projects).  If you'd like to have a chance at winning, leave a comment and we'll draw a name Monday at 5 pm (PST).  Tell us what you have your eye on for your next project, what you might be coveting from the sale this weekend, or what new fabric line you're most excited about!  We will ship the winnings to any address in the United States.

  • If you are in the neighborhood this weekend, don't forget that just down the street Tumbleweed will be celebrating their 10th year in business.  The party is from 11-6 on Sunday, April 18 and will include a sale, the unveiling of a new kara-line collection, and other goodies. 

  • Natalie Chanin of Project Alabama and Alabama Chanin is lecturing tonight (Thursday, April 15th) at PNCA.  It's free and open to the public.  I can't believe I missed her at Powell's!  For more Portland events and to see if there's something going on in your town check the events page.
