The Newest of the New

Reminder:  The shop is closed this Thursday and Friday, November 24th and 25th.  MD will be closed Thursday but open Friday for their big, big Sale (that runs through December 4th).

The quilt weight cotton shelves are PACKED full again.  There is the whole line of Momo, new prints from Kaufman and Troy's Marcia Derse (both pictured above).  The latter is super modern and graphic and reminds us all of the Nani Iro linen prints.  There are new dots, new Alexander Henry, and the sweetest vintage trailer, coffee cup and safety pin novelty prints.  Do I need more novelty?  Yes, I do. 

The rest of the Anna Maria Horner Voiles are here and we have received a huge shipment of Stitch Magazines, including back issues!  These magazines are packed full of very gift worthy projects, some of which we'll be featuring the next few weeks. 

Mark your calendars for Alicia Paulson's book signing at MD on December 3rd from 5-6:30 pm.  We have some gorgeous samples of hers from Embroidery Companion  set up at Bolt right now. 

Modern Domestic just added another session for Anna Joyce's super popular Tree Skirt class.  There are still spots available in her stocking and felt bird classes as well.  We have stacks of wool/rayon blend by the sheet or yard.  We also have some beautiful bundles of 100% virgin wool, perfect for holiday crafting and sewing.  I, for one, am going to sit down with my Thread Heaven and embroidery thread and get down to business.
