We're excited to be partnering with Modified Style Portland this spring. If you're not familiar with Modified Style, their mission is to promote "fun, accessible, sustainable fashion" in Portland. They nurture local talent and spread the good word about environmentally conscious fashion design and consumption. MSP is exemplary in their promotion of environmental and social responsibility. This year's beneficiaries are Dress for Success Oregon and Project Lemonade.

Leading up to our spring sale, we'll be collecting fabric donations for Modified Style's 2017 event. (They are finished collecting fabric for the 2016 show.)  Bring in a grocery bag full of fabric and notions to receive a coupon for use during our annual April sale. We'll accept cuts of fabric of any content and at least one yard* and notions like zippers, buttons, interfacing, grommets, you name it. Donations can be dropped off at the store anytime from now through April 21st. This gives you lots of time to get sorting!

There are a couple of events coming up:

March 20: Clothing Swap at Lola's Room This is a great opportunity to ethically lighten the load in your closet and pick up some new duds.

June 30: Fashion Show at the Crystal Ballroom

*If you have cuts of fabric of less than a yard, hang on to them until our fall sale, when we'll be collecting fabric for another organization that can make use of smaller cuts!
