First off, don't forget that we have a sale on all fabric (20% off) this weekend.
Second, we have some great new things in, and yes, they too will be marked down! Let's see, we have new things from Art Gallery Fabrics, Spellbound. It's full of blues, gray, yellow and pink. There are also a number of great new prints from Alexander Henry, including a new, regal-ish skull print. They do edgy so well.
Other things happening around the store...I ordered some really great new things this week that I am so excited about. I'm happy to say there will be more of that supple coated cotton from Westminster (like Anna Maria Horner's which sold out so quickly), in Kaffe Fassett prints--bold prints, lots of color. And, they're wider than the usual 45", they're being made at 54/ 55". I also too a little look-see at Denyse Schmidt's new line, Hope Valley. It's sweet, nostalgic, easy to like, so we have the entire line ordered. I always like it when an entire line will be arriving at the store. It looks so great to see them all together.
Amy Butler has a new line coming out as well, but alas, for some reason we are not being allowed to see it until just before it is due to ship. What this means for my store is that I will probably end up on the second printing, as I do not purchase fabric sight unseen. So, we'll just have to be patient on that and enjoy all the other great offerings available from all the other great designers. With Quilt Market in a few months, we'll soon see new lines from Heather Bailey, Anna Maria Horner, and Tina Givens, along with many, many more. It's always so exciting!
