Just In: Japanese shipment has arrived! Valentine's news.

by Gina

This week we welcomed a great shipment of goodies from Japan. These include double gauze and brushed double gauze, cotton linen blends, cotton twill and cotton crepe. Oooo-weee. We’ve been a bit giddy with this arrival. Most of these great beauties are by Nani Iro, Echino and Ellen Luckett Baker. Enjoy!

And, who doesn’t love a good metallic cat?

And from those witty folks at Alexander Henry:

Other news to share this week—Hidden Hearts from Supportland! In honor of Valentine’s Day, you will receive a “hidden heart” on your Supportland account with each purchase between Thursday and Saturday. Then, on Sunday for 24 magic hours, those hearts become 20 merits each (merits used to be “points”) so you can shop to your hearts’ content with your extra points. They will disappear after Sunday.

We’ll be offering a new merit incentive starting today, and running for a month. If you all like it, we’ll keep it going. For 50 merits from you, you’ll receive 20% off your purchase from us! And remember, with those hidden hearts you’ll be earning, you’ll have 50 merits in no time. Check out the Supportland site here.

See you soon!

First off, thank you to all of you who made it out for our 9th anniversary sale! We truly appreciate your continued support through the years. It’s been an honor to be able to help with your projects, and all the fun, provocative and endearing conversations had along the way have been a delight. Thank you.

Let’s get started with the new arrivals, shall we?

Sometimes fabric comes in that seriously woos me. It actually takes my breath away when I gaze upon it. You know the feeling. The latest order from Seven Islands (from Japan) did just that. It is such a lovely assortment of different types of fabric, as well as designs. Barkcloth, double gauze, twill, canvas, rayon. Here they are:

Just in: Tula Pink, Cotton+Steel, Heather Bailey rayon and voile!

by Gina

Yesterday was a day of deliveries! Not only did we receive just shy of 30 bolts from the Cotton and Steel collection, but also apparel goods from Westminster and Kaufman, part of Tula Pink’s new “Moonshine” group, a sweet trio of Japanese imports, and we’re fully restocked with Otter Wax. Phew! There were a whole lot of boxes to be broken down.

Let’s get the photos rolling, shall we?

First up, Tula Pink’s “Moonshine.”

Printed cotton voile and rayon from Heather Bailey’s “Momentum.”

These sweet pieces are Japanese imports, from top to bottom: linen blend, double gauze (so cute!), and seer sucker-like cotton.

And, Cotton and Steel: a powerhouse group of designers including Alexia Abegg, Kim Kight, Melody Miller, Sarah Watts and Rashida Coleman-Hale. You can certainly see their individual styles, within a group that was designed to all work together. Fun!

And linen blend prints:

So many choices, I think my project list just doubled.

See you soon!
