Just in: Comma, Locally Grown, Type and Sale dates!

by Gina

A while back we received the Moda “Candy” for this group—cute, little 2” square bundles of each print in the group.  We have just a few left, and a darling example of what can be made up with them on our “wall of pride!”  Thanks to Sarah!  Take a peek next time you’re in.  Ok, the group—grammar graphics, who doesn’t love that?! Designed by Zen Chic for Moda.  We’ll be receiving more “candy” bundles for future groups from Moda, keep your eyes open for them!

Just in time for Easter, Locally Grown, is so darling.  Sweet flowers on a soft cream background, sheep, lambs, chicks, eggs, bees…how else can you say Spring?  This group is by the ever talented Marisa of Creative Thursday.  Sweet, sweet.

We also recently received a few pieces from Type by Julia Rothman.  Check out more about the artist, and see the prints here

Don’t forget to take advantage of our “March Madness” promo this month.  It’s been a lot of fun sending folks back and forth between Cool Cottons and Bolt.  Hope you’ve been enjoying it too!

We’ll be holding our big, store-wide twice-a-year sale April 12th, 13th and 14th.  It’s a great time to stock up on same stellar deals.  ALL FABRIC is marked down 10-50%, and some gets marked down even more than that! We’ll let you know any other details as we get nearer.  For now, just mark those calendars.

Just in: Miscellany

We’ve toyed with the idea of having different things made up with the Bolt name on it and sort of giggled about some of the ideas and set the ideas aside.  Well, no longer is that the case!  We now have these Bolt yardsticks.  They’ve made me giggle for a while.  Now that I’m more used to them, they make me grin.  We have them on our cutting tables and one hanging on the wall behind the cutting table for you to check out.  And, a shameless plug for my bff who made it happen for us…

We have baker’s twine now, in six great colors: red, green, brown, aqua, pink and grey.  Sold either by the yard or a full spool of 100 yards.  Fun, fun!  I’m wondering how it would work in April’s thread-writing method….Anyone tried it?

The ever-fabulous Alberta Street Fair is coming up!  Mark your calendars for August 11th and any of you interested in vending, vendor registration is open.  We’re proud to be one of the sponsors for this event that is welcoming and amusing for anyone and everyone.

I can’t resist tossing in a pic or two of some of the newest additions to the fabric collection at the store.  Below are pears from Robert Kaufman and rabbits and stars by Marisa of Creative Thursday, for Andover.
