Entries in Cloud 9 Fabric (15)
These fabulous new pieces from Anna Maria Horner’s “Pretty Potent” line arrived. There’s rayon, cotton voile, flannel and cotton knit.
I absolutely love this eucalyptus print, in all its forms. I can see it being a gorgeous quilt back, a lovely dress (in the rayon version up top), or I used the quilting cotton print inside some glass doors on my dining room hutch. Pretty, pretty.
And look how lovely Joel Dewberry’s newest prints look with the other “Pretty Potent” prints. Loving that light blue.
Kaffe Fassett’s new fun house print and Cloud 9’s latest, “Arcadia.”
This is a fun new little addition to the store’s displays: staff picks! Be on the look out next time you’re in for who loves what, then feel free to ask them why they chose what they chose. I have yet to be able to decide on my favorite thing. And, as cheesy as it may sound, really the staff at Bolt are my favorite. Day in and day out, they provide their expertise, inspiration and creativity. I am extremely grateful for their dedication to Bolt and our customers.
Happy summer sewing!
by GinaThese great new knits (top pic) and voile (lower pic) are making me think summer sewing! All but the interesting “snaggy” knit are from Art Gallery, and just like their fantastic quality quilting weight cotton, these knits are soft and stretchy and the voile is airy and silky. I continue to be impressed with their fabrics! And, a few new prints on quilting weight are here too:
Fabulous new colors of Andover chambray….and a metallic! It’s tricky to see those silver metallic threads on the white, but they’re there. Our latest Essex colors and a great two color seersucker. We also have classic red/white and greyish-navy/white. These sweet Scandinavian birds are a welcome addition to the mix.
We are restocked with dish toweling. Come and get it! And, we mentioned it last week, but I thought I’d toss in a photo of this great new line from Cloud 9, organic cotton:
Happy sunny Thursday! Enjoy and we’ll see you soon.
Well last week we received some great new things the day after putting up the last Just In post, of course! So, this week I thought I would include the fact that we received just about the complete line of Shape of Spring, organic cotton prints by Eloise Renouf for Cloud 9. You can see it here. It’s pretty, pretty!
It’s back! The blocky ikat in those great, bright colors that you’ve been asking for is back in stock. It’s the one I used for the whole cloth quilt that has been hanging on the wall lately. We still have more of the three other colors of it too. A couple of classic ticking stripes too!
New, gorgeous Nani Iro prints (the top pic is double gauze, lower pic is sateen) and another Echino cotton/linen dot. These dots make the perfect bag lining, in my opinion.
The latest installment of “The Ghastlies” from the folks at Alexander Henry. Pretty amusing.
And, a little bit of science…See you soon!
