As I’ve said before, I feel like a thousand times, I am a big fan of Anna Maria Horner’s designs. I love her large scale prints. These prints are on a light-medium weight cotton linen blend and are gorgeous. I’m thinking new living room curtains, or a really amazing quilt back. The colors are astounding. These bolts need to be opened up for sure, so you can really take in the design.
Lotta Jansdotter’s newest group, Glimma just arrived. We have both medium weight cotton prints and canvas (the stack off to the right in the back). She’s done it again, with clean, modern, easy to use designs. Some new totes for going to the pool this summer just may be in order!
Pretty, pretty indigo and white from Dear Stella’s Ravena line. Crisp, clean, feels like spring. Another group just in from DS is Va Bene! Fun Italian images: maps, scooters and tomatoes.
Sweet new organic cotton prints from Birch are here—Yay Day! Animals parading, confetti dots, soft, but not too muted of colors. I particularly like the garland around the doe’s neck. Very sweet.
And some amazing color combos from Kaffe Fassett and Brandon Mably. Enjoy!
We have more apparel fabrics to show off! This is an eclectic combination of pieces. From left to right: a cotton two-face knit, two cotton sheeting prints by Annette Tatum, a fine pinstriped linen, and a new (for us) color way of the bright, spring Liberty of London print that flew out of here the first go around!
This sweet group is Piper from Dear Stella. Rich, earthy colors, with pops of red and lilac. Lovely.
We also got busy the other day bundling up some of those fabulous Melody Miller prints from her Ruby Star Vinyl collection. A great way to pick up a quick gift for a favorite vintage-inspired-print lover in your life.
April and Hannah were busy making room for new pieces from Cloud 9 yesterday—primary colors done up right in Steffie Brocoli’s In The Forest II, and super modern animals in her distinctive style, Eleanor Grosch’s Mixteca. Come take a look!
A huge thank you to Marie and Cool Cottons and all of you for playing along with the March Madness event last month. It sounded like quite a few of you were pretty happy about it! We really enjoyed letting folks know about it and meeting some new folks. I’ve always felt that Portland is lucky to have the variety of fabric stores we have. Each one seems to play a different role, provide something a little different than the others. Thanks for playing and congratulations are in order! Mary N. and Sara Q. are the lucky winners of the $10 gift certificates to Bolt. Yay!
Don’t forget our big sale is right around the corner. April 12th-14th, all fabric will be marked down and all books and patterns will be 20% off too!
