We may have received so much in the past week that it would be easier to list what isn’t new. Not really, but it feels like it. A few things that aren’t going to show up in photos: a slew of new buttons, and more are on their way, simple, lovely cotton gauze in black and white, a replenished selection of shot cottons, and more. Let’s get started with the photos, shall we?
Trims galore! Including these cute little packages of ribbed cuffs and waist-bands. I know, not the best pic, but I had to show you these sweet buttons/charms that arrived. I’m thinking these little chicken charms would make some very fine zipper pulls. These great Japanese imports are so fun! Mt. Fuji dobby, crayon drawn dinos, seahorse double gauze, double sided starry denim, sweet floral shirtings. See the pandas?A variety of apparel goods have started rolling in. Time to start planning your summer wardrobe. The latest arrivals of medium weight cottons: Ty Pennington’s latest group, Melissa Ybarra’s “Garden Party Tango,” and Tula Pink’s “Fox Field.”
Hi there! Here are some of the latest greats. Our most recent orders from Robert Kaufman have included some fabulous apparel goods, including linen blends, gorgeous raisin colored sateen (I’m thinking a Skirt Smarts out of this one), and twill, as well as flannel to round out our color selection!
Those are the Kaufman twills in the center, above. The white is a PFD piece, or “prepared for dying,” so it will soak up your dye easy peasy! The denim on the left has this amazing red over dye to it, and the stripe cottons on the right would make up the sweetest Laurel, or Reglisse.
As for quilting cotton prints, Sarah Jane’s new group, “Wee Wander” arrived, and is adorable as ever.
Some fun, colorful prints from Moda. The pictured ones are brushed cotton, we also have flat cotton in some of these prints, and coordinates.
As I was snapping shots of these I noticed our very full remnant bins, and thought it’s worth pointing out that as we have oh so many new things coming through the door, the flip side is that we have lots and lots of remnants for your perusing pleasure. Come take a look and find that perfect something at a steal of a price.
We’ve been adding to our sale trim selection lately too. Making Valentine’s? And, we still have $1 and $5 patterns. Wow. See you soon!
We started carrying these lovely felt kits by Heidi Boyd back in the spring and have been loving them! The designs are simple and sweet. They stitch up in no time at all and would be a perfect gift as the kit for the stitcher in your life, or do the stitching yourself and give the completed design as the present.
And, while we’re talking felt, remember that rad ornament April showed us how to make? Check it out here.
