It’s been a little while since my last Just In post…I hope you all have enjoyed a healthy, happy end of 2012 and start to 2013. Thank you to many of you who expressed your support of us taking a bit of a break over the holidays. It’s nice to hear! OK, let’s get down to it. We’ve received a whole lotta goods over the past few weeks, here are a few quick highlights. A selection of Timber and Leaf by Sarah Watts for Blend Fabric, mixed with some other goodies…
Constellations by Lizzy House for Andover Fabrics.
Apple Jack from Moda.
Love Notes from Andover. We also received part of the High Tide group from Andover!
We have a new selection of Liberty of London cotton lawn prints on their way. So exciting. And, we have so many great things planned for the coming year. Stay tuned for info on our resurrected Organization of the Month program, and hear about January’s featured organization!

Wow. My only wish, at this point, is that I could take a photo that really showed how large this pile of donated fabric is. Thank you all so very, very much for making the Coffee Creek Quilters Fabric Drive a success. All of us here have been so thrilled to see you come in with your donations. There were many days that I heard, “Gina, have you seen the pile of donations?!” And it just grew and grew.
You’re the best!

We recently received these rad finger puppet patterns. They make me grin. Ok, so today maybe we’re all outside celebrating the sunshine, but when the rain returns, this is a fantastic project that can be done with your little ones. They use lots of little scraps, and you can let your and their imaginations run wild. I’m thinking the ninja would be the most popular one in my household, although that secret agent man (?!) is quite amusing.
The card table fort pattern is another great play time idea. I can imagine some alterations to include a side with a stage and curtain for…puppet shows. What are you creating this spring break?
